FAST-TRACK INJUSTICE: THE OSCAR SANCHEZ CASE
GOLDEN NYMPH AWARD FOR BEST DOCUMENTARY, MONTREAL TV FESTIVAL 2015 Óscar Sánchez, a humble Spanish carwash attendant, is arrested, extradited to Italy, and sentenced to 14 years for drug trafficking. Months after his detention, three journalists discover plenty of things that don't match in his case. Digging deeper, they find he is the latest victim of the abuse of the European Arrest Warrant, a new EU extradition system hastily set up after 9/11.
