CPH:FORUM is a three-day international financing event that takes place on November 13-15 in connection with CPH:DOX. The forum explores new, untested ways of breaking down conventional notions of genre and connects people from the worlds of non-fiction, fiction and visual art, with the aim of initiating new dialogues, opening up new windows and enabling new production and financing models.
An exclusive maximum of 30 projects will be selected for participation in the three main categories:
- · FICTIONONFICTION: Representing challenging works in the ever growing landscape between fiction and non-fiction
- · CINEMA: Focusing on the best of high-end theatrical documentary film
- · ART: Presenting projects by artists working in the area of visual arts meets cinema, conceptualized to meet audiences from both worlds.
The selected projects will be presented to a line-up of major international funds, sales agents, buyers, distributors, broadcasters, online platforms, festivals, museums and other film and art institutions in order to create an exclusive and diversified meeting and networking place across the landscape of fiction, documentary and visual art.
For the first time the CPH:FORUM is this year announcing the Eurimages Co-Production Development Award of 15000€ for the best best pitch.
