Apply for EKRAN+ 2015
Wajda Studio and Wajda School are now accepting applications for a new edition of the international training program for film professionals EKRAN+ 2015. Applications are accepted until December 10, 2014.
EKRAN+ focuses on the creative process of preparation for production. Its main principle is to develop a project by realizing two scenes from the script. As early as at the project development stage, EKRAN+ gives an opportunity to find the right tone and visual strategy for the film, develop the skill of telling a story with images and experiment with casting.
The EKRAN+ Program consists of three sessions, which include:
- - treatment / script development
- - visual presentation of the projects
- - preparation for shooting and casting,
- - shooting, editing;
- - art tutoring
- - commentary on the realized scenes.
A team consisting of the director, scriptwriter, producer and cinematographer represents each of the nine projects participating in the EKRAN+ Program. The EKRAN+ Program assumes close cooperation of the entire team and is supposed to be the first step on the road to completing the film.
Thanks to the support of the EU Creative Europe - MEDIA Programme and international partners, the participation is free of charge.
Applications for EKRAN+ 2015 should be submitted via the Wajda Studio web site.
