Torino Film Festival - TFF
Submission deadline: 3/9 – 2018. Festival: November 23 – December 1, 2018
Torino Film Festival is the second largest film festival in Italy. TFF has remained essentially unchanged in its identity, which was created in over thirty years of research devoted to new cinema and to discovering the contemporary trends in international independent films. The non-competitive sections of the Festival will be filled with films and surprising discoveries suspended between show and research, anticipations and provocations, mainstream movies and niche cinema.

Stockholm International Film Festival
Submission deadline: 7/9 – 2018. Festival: November 7 - 18, 2018
The aim for Stockholm International Film Festival is to broaden the selection of films in Sweden with creative new films of high quality and offer the visitor an orientation within modern film to stimulate a continuing debate. With seminars, opportunities to meet actors and filmmakers during the face2face along with the extensive catalogue, all means are given to make the film experience come full circle. In the past 24 years close to some 3000 films from all over the world has been screened at the Festival.

Sundance Film Festival
Submission deadline: 14/9 – 2018. Festival: January 24 – February 3, 2019
Sundance Film Festival is held in Park City, USA. It is the largest independent cinema festival in the United States and there are competition sections for both US and International documentary feature films, which require a running time of 50 minutes or more. Each year, the festival selects 115–125 feature films, 60–80 short films, 5–10 episodic projects, and 15–30 Virtual Reality Projects to play in each of the Festival programs.

All Lights India International Film Festival - ALIIFF
Submission deadline: 15/9 – 2018. Festival: December 1 - 4, 2018
ALIIFF is a platform for global film industry to portray excellence in filmmaking. With an aim to inspire, nurture and integrate, the film festival brings together the different aspects of the Indian Cinema industry-facilitating congregation of people and nations. ALIIFF aims at educating the community & film festival attendees through the art and science of film, promoting cross-cultural awareness, the exchange of ideas, and social understanding. The competition categories include international documentaries.

Porto/Post/Doc Film & Media Festival

Submission deadline: 15/9 – 2018. Festival: November 24 – December 2, 2018
Porto/Post/Doc is a festival in Portugal, that aims to capture the world through cinema and bring it to the city of Porto. Porto/ Post/Doc will feature a selection of over 50 films , which will be accompanied by several debates, masterclasses , Q&A sessions, parties, concerts and many other events.
