Deauville Green Awards: Deadline Extended & EDN Member Discounts

01.04.2015

Projects and films for the Deauville Green Awards (DGA) can still be submitted until 10 April 2015 after the festival organizers announced an extension of the submission deadline. EDN members can save up to 200€ on accreditation fees and film submissions when registering for the festival.

DGA is an international festival for audiovisual productions related to sustainable development and ecology. The fourth edition of DGA will take place from 9-11 June in Deauville, France. The event is dedicated to institutional films, documentaries and “great cause” commercials for ecology and sustainable development, a unique platform for all stakeholders of ecological renewal aiming to publicise efforts done in the area of eco-responsibility.

Three days of round tables, meetings and awards contribute to the promotion of good practice as applied by broadcasting companies, institutions and communities engaging in sustainable development. Among the many awards of the festival are the Grand Prix for "best documentary film", "best corporate film" and "best public awareness campaign".

Participating EDN members will get the following benefits:

- 100€ discount on full accreditation fee for EDN members (380€ instead of 480€)
- 100€ discount on accreditation fee (284€ instead of 384€), if registering before 1st of May 2015
- 100€ discount on film entry fee for EDN members (190€ instead of 290€)

In order to obtain your member discount for Deauville Green Awards, please go to the EDN Member Discounts section.

Through international competition (250+ films from 30 countries), conferences, professional meetings and activities, the festival organizers aim to highlight sustainable practices, and - on the other hand - participate in awareness raising and mobilization of the public at large around the challenges of sustainable development issues.

PLEASE NOTE: The submission deadline has been extended to 10 April 2015

More information about how to apply as well as the festival and entry regulations can be found on the DGA competition webpage.
