Baltic Sea Forum for Documentaries
Deadline: 5/6 – 2017. Event dates: September 6-10, 2017.
Baltic Sea Forum for Documentaries (BSD) is an international project market, focusing on documentary filmmakers representing greater Baltic Sea Region and former Eastern Block countries as well as any other European country in case the subject of the upcoming film is related to the region. Thus BSD is a meeting point for the filmmakers from Eastern and Western European countries. Producers are welcome to submit up to 3 documentary projects by June 5. There is no submission or participation fee.

Cross Video Days 2017
Deadline: 13/6– 2017. Event dates: October 2-4, 2017.
Cross Video Days is a marketplace where innovative tech-enabled content and studios can be pitched, scouted and financed. Supported by Creative Europe, the content market will host pre-arranged one-to-one business meetings between selected projects and Commissioners among the most emblematic TV and web broadcasters.

Creative Europe: Distribution Selective Scheme
Deadline: 14/6– 2017.
Creative Europe’s Distribution Selective Scheme – Support for the transnational distribution of European Films 2017. This scheme aims to encourage groupings of distributors to release European non-national films that might be a challenge were they to be supported by market forces alone. The theatrical release of the film must take place either on, or after, the date of submission and within 18 months of the deadline. The total budget for this scheme is estimated at €9.7 million. Grants are awarded to each distributor in lump sum amounts based on both the country of release and the number of screens covered during the first week of the release.

Asian Project Market 2017
Deadline: 15/6– 2017. Event dates: October 15-17, 2017
Launched in 1998 at the 3rd Busan International Film Festival, Asian Project Market (APM, formerly Pusan Promotion Plan; PPP) has connected talented Asian directors with booming new projects to professionals from film industry world-wide. To open a wider window of opportunity for investment and co-production, APM has stretched its field beyond Asia to the non-Asia since 2007 by accepting projects from more countries and seen a noticeable increase in transnational co-productions.

Junior Co-production Market
Deadline: 15/6– 2017. Event dates: October 26-27, 2017.
The Cinekid Junior Co-production Market is one single, integrated co-production market that enables financiers, broadcasters and professionals assess new and innovative Children's projects across the film, television and cross-media sectors. Your project can be a film, television programme/series or cross media. You will pitch your project in pre-arranged one-on-one meetings to key decision-makers within the children’s media industry. These will include financiers, sales agents, distributors, commissioning editors, producers, funding bodies, branding companies, entertainment companies, etc. Your project must have a minimum of 10% financing already in place.

East Silver Market
Deadline: 30/6– 2017. Event dates: October 24-29, 2017
East Silver, a documentary market specialized in Eastern and Central European documentary. East Silver Market is open to creative documentary projects tackling contemporary topics, challenging genre and media boundaries and audience participation. This call is open for completed documentaries produced/co-produced in the region of Central and Eastern Europe after January 1, 2016.
