EDN staff in front of Herengracht 244 in Amsterdam
For all of you who would like to find a reason to visit the vibrant city of Amsterdam: don't seek any further! EDN recently opened a new office in the heart of the Dutch capital and we are happy to welcome you here.
What is the exact address?
You can find us at Herengracht 244, on the top floor of this historical building along the canal with a view over the city center, a view on the Westerkerk and only a few steps away from the legendary Anne Frank House. The picture on the right shows the EDN team in front of the entrance area of Herengracht 244! It is thanks to a discount offered by Jan Riemens' company, that EDN can use an affordable office space here.
Why did EDN open this new office?
As some of you know, EDN could not extend its rental at the offices at the Danish Film Institute in Copenhagen. The reason being that the DFI funding came to an end in 2018 and 50% of this funding went to rather expensive office space. Therefore, it was time to find an alternative solution for our offices.
Why not stop by and visit us?
EDN members are always welcome to visit, to meet us here and to have a chat.
We serve special brewed coffee, we do an effort to keep our office as eco friendly as possible by avoiding single use plastic and by using as much renewable energy as possible.
Most of our staff members are vegan so yes, we also have oat milk in the fridge ;)
Again, feel free to text me & schedule a visit.
Warmest Wishes,
Flore Deroose
