Participation at the Sunny Side of the Doc market offers you a chance to develop your international network and to learn more about the international documentary market.

Sunny Side of the Doc is a meeting spot for documentary professionals where you can take part in various forums, case studies and screenings, apart from finding financing for your next project.

Besides hosting the umbrella stand EDN will also collaborate with the Sunny Side of the Doc organisers. EDN will be involved in planning and conducting several sessions during the market. 

About the EDN Umbrella Stand
The EDN Umbrella Stand is located at the European Spot area of the market. EDN will help the participating producers network & match-make with other documentary professionals and potential financiers.

The stand will also be equipped with meeting facilities for EDN participants to have meetings and appointments at the stand.

During the whole market EDN will offer a consultation and information service to the producers and filmmakers at the stand, providing feedback on potential financiers and international collaborators.

REGISTERING FOR THE EDN UMBRELLA STAND: All members of EDN can participate at the EDN Umbrella Stand, which will be incorporated into the ‘European Spot’ area. Priority will be given to producers who are not already part of any other national, regional or institutional umbrella stand. EDN members are eligible for special rates when registering: Premium Pass: This pass includes a 4-day pass and 1 commissioned project (You will need the Premium Pass if you want to submit a project to the pitch selection. Regardless of being selected or not, the project will appear full page in the printed catalogue.) Additional pass: This is for a person from a company already registered with a standard or premium pass. The discount codes will be made available in the EDN Member Discounts section several weeks prior to the overall registration deadline for Sunny Side of the Doc.
