Four documentaries receive finishing fund
The Women In Film Foundation's Film Finishing Fund has just announced the recipients of the 28th annual Film Finishing Fund grant program. Among the granted projects are four documentaries.
Ladonna Harris: Indian 101 by Julianna Brannum
Over 113 feature-length narrative films, documentaries and shorts were submitted from all over the world were submitted for the 2013 cycle of the Film Finishing Fund. The four documentaries included in the fund recipients are:
- Ladonna Harris: Indian 101 by Julianna Brannum
- The Last One by Nadine Licostie
- Mia, A Dancer's Odyssey by Maria Ramas & Kate Johnson
- Spies of Mississippi by Dawn Porter.
The Women In Film Foundation’s Film Finishing Fund (WIFF FFF) supports films by, for or about women by providing cash grants of up to $15,000 and in-kind services. Since the inception of the Fund in 1985, the Foundation has awarded more than $2 million in cash and in-kind services to 170 films ensuring that innovative films can be completed and seen by audiences worldwide. The program funds filmmakers working in both short and long formats in all genres.
