Laimis Zelnys - EDN Content & Partnerships Manager
Laimis Zelnys joined EDN in May 2019 as Content & Partnerships Manager. In this role, Laimis coordinates EDN's overall partnerships and content submissions for documentary events throughout Europe and the world. He also manages EDN’s involvement in a variety of programmes co-funded by Creative Europe MEDIA, such as the pan-European distribution network Moving Docs and the EDN Workshops Southern Europe (Lisbon Docs and Docs in Thessaloniki). Apart from that, he also takes care of the annual publication of the EDN Financing Guide.
Before joining EDN, Laimis worked for Zoomin.TV where he worked as creative producer in research and development of long format videos for various VOD platforms. His most recent video production was a 4K UHD episodic alternative travel show about Amsterdam and its culture. Laimis previously worked as production manager on the multi-episode series Droners for Insight TV, which was shot at various locations around the world such as China, the U.S. and Ethiopia. Laimis originally comes from Lithuania but has been living in the Netherlands for 15 years
