NORDOC Workshop Part 1
February 26 - March 1, 2017. Lillehammer, Norway.
The Nordoc programme is a comprehensive three-part development workshop for Norwegian documentary producers. EDN will be represented by EDN Head of Studies Mikael Opstrup as group leader of workshop.
NORDOC is a new initiative aiming at lifting Norwegian producers from producing on a regional or national level to working internationally. Throughout the three-part workshop the producers will work with all aspects of developing, producing, financing and distributing. All producers participate with a documentary project at NORDOC but the workshop will focus beyond the project and work with individual and company development.
EDN Head of Studies Mikael Opstrup is appointed group leader at all three NORDOC sessions:
• Lillehammer | 26 February – 1 March
• Molde |18 – 21 June
• Stavanger | 5 – 8 November.
At each session the participants will meet international experts on the different focus areas: 1st session: Iikka Vehkalahti (development), 2nd session: Gregor Streiber (producing) and 3rd session: Gitte Hansen (distribution).
NORDOC is organized by East Norwegian Film Centre, West Norwegian Film Centre and Filmkraft Rogaland.
