Submissions Now Open for IDFA 2015
Filmmakers and producers can now submit their contributions to the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) which will take place from 18 - 29 November 2015.
During this year's edition of IDFA, more than 250 documentaries will be selected, ranging from international audience favorites up to artistic experiments at the fringes of the genre. But IDFA also showcases interactive documentaries and other non-fiction forms of digital storytelling, games, apps, installations and media art.
The organizers are looking forward to the sumbission of your films or interactive documentaries and other non-fiction forms of digital storytelling for IDFA 2015. The first deadline is May 1st. This deadline is for all films completed between August 1st, 2014 and April 1st, 2015. The second and final deadline is August 1st, for all films finished after April 1st, 2015. However, it is important to enter your documentary at the earliest possible moment. IDFA requires applicants to provide an online screener, a completed IDFA entry form and a payment of EUR 40,00 entry fee (excl. VAT).
To submit a film, applicants will have to complete the IDFA Online Entry Form 2015 in MyIDFA. For further information, please check the Entry Regulations 2015 for the IDFA submission guidelines and other rules. In case you have any additional questions you may also refer to the FAQ section.
(1) For films completed between 1 August 2014 and 1 April 2015, the submission deadline is 1 May 2015
(2) Films projects completed after 1 April 2015 should be submitted until 1 August 2015
