Sunny Side of the Doc Introduces Connected Edition

In response to the consequences brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic and in order to keep the activities of the documentary community going, Sunny Side of the Doc will switch to an online-only format for its 2020 edition. The very first Connected Edition of Sunny Side will take place from 22nd to 25th June and will be streamed from La Rochelle, France.

The 31st edition of Sunny Side of the Doc - the international marketplace for documentary and narrative experiences - has been entirely reworked into an online format taking place form 22nd to 25th June. The activities organized will include pitching sessions, one-to-one meetings and a significant section with programming of video resources and topical webinars (livestreamed Q&A, hands-on workshops, case studies) designed by top-level experts to foster extensive interactions with professional peers.

The Connected Edition of Sunny Side of the Doc is structured around three elements that are the foundation of the DNA of Sunny Side's international marketplace: showcasing quality-driven projects and programmes; having a finger on the pulse for industry trends; and developing an international network for collaboration between producers, distributors and broadcasters. The accreditation for this alternative event will be available at a flat-rate fee of €200 (excl. tax) for the entire offering.
