Submission deadline: 1/10 – 2018. Festival: February 20 – March 3, 2019
The Dublin International Film Festival is a cultural organization committed to providing Dublin with an annual showcase of International Cinema. The festival is focused on developing audiences both nationally and internationally. The categories includes short, fiction- and documentary feature.

Slamdance Film Festival

Submission deadline: 4/10 – 2018. Festival: January 25 – 31, 2019
Slamdance is dedicated to new filmmakers. It accepts films on any topic from every country. The festival accepts films in the following genres: Narrative Features, Documentary Features, Narrative Shorts, Animated Shorts, Documentary Shorts, and Special Screenings. The mission of the festival is to bring attention to the most talented emerging filmmakers, showcasing their work in the media frenzy of festival week in Park City.

International Film Festival Rotterdam

Submission deadline: 15/10 – 2018. Festival: January 23 – February 3, 2019
International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) offers a high quality line-up of carefully selected fiction and documentary feature films, short films and media art. The festival's focus is on recent work by talented new filmmakers. However, within the four sections the Festival presents, there is also room for retrospectives and themed programmes. IFFR actively supports new and adventurous filmmaking talent through its co-production market CineMart, its Hubert Bals Fund, Rotterdam Lab and other industry activities.

IFFR is one of the largest audience and industry-driven film festivals in the world. During twelve festival days, hundreds of filmmakers and other artists present their work to a large audience. The festival's Official Selection includes more than 500 feature, mid-length, and short films out of over 50 countries.

Visions du Réel

Submission deadline: 15/10 – 2018. Festival: April 5 –13, 2019
Visions du Réel is one of the only Swiss film festivals to present a majority of its films as world or international premieres. It also offers the unique opportunity to meet the film directors, which are present at each first screening of the films. The Festival is also a stepping-stone for new talent. The prestigious Oscars and the European Film Awards academies have opened their doors to films screened at Visions du Réel. Alongside a very varied programme, the Festival also offers masterclasses, debates with film directors, meetings with professionals and many cultural mediation activities. The Festival also has a film market with Industry activities, one of the most important in Europe. Visons du Réel's Industry selects and promotes films at every stage of their development and offers a key networking platform for professionals from all around the world.

SXSW - South by Southwest Film Festival & Conference

SXSW attracts a broad, adventurous audience of press, filmmakers, industry leaders and die-hard fans alike - while tackling the evolution of all aspects of “film”, and how that definition is shifting.

Tromsø International Film Festival

Submission deadline: 19/10 – 2018. Festival: January 14 – 20, 2019
Tromsø International Film Festival screens challenging quality films for a local, national and international audience. Tromsø International Film Festival is set in the dark polar nights, which give's TIFF the unique possibility to screen films outdoor. The outdoor cinema is located at the main square in the heart of Tromsø. The program includes a selection of shorts and documentaries from the Films from the North program, along with special screenings and various other events.
