Submission deadline: 4/1 – 2019. Festival: April 26 – May 6, 2019
The Montclair Film Festival (MFF), a non-profit organization, exists to nurture and showcase the talents of filmmakers from around the world. The Festival will create a cultural focal point in the Township of Montclair that unites, educates and celebrates our region’s diverse community and robust artistic heritage.
Submission deadline: 7/1 – 2019. Festival: April 25 – May 5, 2019
Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival is North America's largest documentary festival. Each year, the festival presents a selection of more than 100 documentaries from Canada and around the globe.
DOXA Documentary Film and Video Festival
Submission deadline: 19/1 – 2019. Festival: March 2 – 12, 2019
DOXA is an international documentary festival featuring new work selected by a jury, as well as thematic programming presented by independent curators. We are seeking submissions of short to feature length documentaries - Awards categories include Feature Documentary, Short Documentary, Canadian Documentary, and Nigel Moore Award for Youth Programming.
DocAviv International Documentary Film Festival
Submission deadline: 18/1 – 2019. Festival: May 23 – June 1, 2019
Docaviv – the Tel Aviv International Documentary Film Festival is the largest film festival in the city of Tel Aviv, and the only festival in Israel dedicated exclusively to documentary films. It is among the world’s leading documentary festivals, with over 100 new local and international documentaries screened each year. The program includes several competitions: The Israeli Competition, the International Competition, the Depth of Field Competition, the Shorts Competition, and the Student Competition. The Festival also features a special tribute program dedicated to the work of esteemed filmmakers, as well as themed programs dedicated to music, art, social issues, virtual reality and new technologies, and other curated programs.
Brussels Short Film Festival - BSFF
Submission deadline: 27/1 – 2019. Festival: April 25 – May 5, 2019
Brussels Short Film Festival is an exhibition intended for lovers of cinema, both audience and professionals. The purpose is to promote and circulate short films and to generate contacts between audience, young directors and professionals.
Krakow Film Festival
Submission deadline: 31/1 – 2019. Festival: May 26 – June 2, 2019
Krakow Film Festival is a creative and very intensive film event presenting the newest films from all around the world. The festival, dedicated to documentary, animated and short fiction films is an Oscar® nominating festival, qualifies films for the European Film Award and has got FIPAF accreditation. It lasts 8 days, presents about 200 films on 9 screens and in the same time is the annual meeting place for filmmakers and industry professionals.
