EFAD Publishes Overview of COVID-19 Support Measures per Country
The association of European Film Agency Directors (EFAD) has recently published an extensive overview of COVID-19 measures that have been taken in each country. The list includes current activities of film organisations aiming to mitigate the consequences of COVD-19 as well as direct links offering information on what measures and schemes have been introduced in a particular country in order to support film professionals.
Over the past weeks and months, it became obvious that the Coronavirus outbreak has greatly affected a majority of the players operating in the audio-visual sector. For many, the consequences of COVID-19 have become a considerable threat, to the extent that they cannot sustain their work in the film industry without the help of suitable financial support schemes.
According to a recent press release by EFAD, the national film and audio-visual funds across Europe are already fully mobilised to take all necessary measures to mitigate the negative consequences for everybody working in the sector.
