EDN Announces Lineup of Projects Selected for Docs in Thessaloniki
EDN - European Documentary Network announces the final selection of projects to take part in Docs in Thessaloniki, the annual EDN pitching forum taking place from 1-5 March 2019 in Thessaloniki, Greece. Docs in Thessaloniki consists of a five-day program, where the selected documentary projects will be developed, re-written and pitched to a panel of international financiers.

For the upcoming 21st edition of Docs in Thessaloniki, EDN has now announced the final selection of documentary projects that will participate in the next instalment of EDN's pitching forum taking place alongside the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival in March.
Docs in Thessaloniki will once again feature a strong team of experts and tutors to work with the participants on their projects. The tutor team consists of: Paula Vaccaro (Producer, Pinball London, UK), Flora Gregory (Independent Consultant, UK), Arash Riahi (Producer, Director & Dramatic Advisor, Golden Girls Filmproduktion, Austria), Joëlle Alexis (Editor, Israel), Brian Hill (Producer & Director, Century Films, UK), Robert Bahar (Producer and Director, USA) and Ove Rishøj Jensen (EDN Film and Media Consultant).
The EDN team looks forward to the 21st edition of the event and especially to the exciting variety of projects to be developed and presented to financiers from renowned organisations from around the world. The lineup of financiers includes commissioners and experts from ARTE GEIE, Cats&Docs, DR/Danish Broadcasting Corporation, ERT, Films Transit, RTS, SVT, YLE, RAI, CurrentTime.tv, Women Make Movies and Lyfta.

Docs in Thessaloniki is one of EDN's flagship pitching forums and a cost effective fast track to the European and international documentary market. The 5-day event allows participants to develop their projects, network with colleagues and pitch to financiers in a relaxed and constructive atmosphere. Moreover, a dedicated outreach programme offers project teams the opportunity to find new ways of reaching potential audiences. Docs in Thessaloniki has been launched in 2001 and has since been organized every year. The initiative is supported by Creative Europe MEDIA and takes place within the framework of the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival.
