Asian Side of the Doc
Deadline: 11/12 - 2017. Event dates: January 30 - February 2, 2018.
Asian Side of the Doc is a co-production platform and programmes sales market for documentaries and specialist factual in Asia. The event offers new business and creative partnerships opportunities for doc professionals on the dynamic Asian factual programmes sector now running in both directions, Asia to Asia, and Asia to the rest of the world. It includes four days of sales market, networking, pitching sessions with prizes, conferences and the added value of tailored one-to-one meetings with key buyers and commissioners from Asia and beyond.

ZAGREBDOX PRO is a program that includes both workshops and a pitching forum documentary projects in various phases of development / production, and THE INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION DAY dedicated to networking. During the workshop, participants are going to have individual meetings with decision makers (TV editors, distributors, producers, representatives of film funds) and scriptwriting advisors.

Documentary Campus Masterschool

The Masterschool is an intensive training program for documentary filmmakers, taking place over a timespan of a 10-month period. Its aim is to mentor directors and producers to make exciting documentaries (one-offs, multiplatform and series) for the international market.
Science Film Forum
Deadline: 22/12 - 2017. Event dates: March 20, 2018
Science Film Forum is part of CPH:SCIENCE and a new international industry platform, seeking to make science accessible and stimulating to the broadest possible audience by: * Promoting high-level dialogue between scientists and filmmakers * Encouraging collaboration across disciplines of film, science and technology * Serving as an incubator for creative documentary films and new media projects We are looking for: Creative documentary projects on science and technology in a variety of formats: feature length,
series, immersive or interactive media for cinema, broadcast or new media platforms, with a strong aesthetic and/or social change component.

Twelve for the Future Rough Cut Session
Deadline: 08/12-2017. Event dates: February 1, 2018.
Together with DocPoint, EDN is organising the Twelve for the Future Rough Cut session in conjunction with Twelve for the Future 2017/2018 and the DocPoint Documentary Film Festival. The submission deadline is December 8, 2017.

The Financing Forum for Kids Content

The Financing Forum for Kids Content in Malmö, Sweden is an annual, international three day co-production forum for children's media content. 20-30 projects in development are pitched for 50+ international decision-makers and experts + 150 producers and distributors.
