Creative Europe: Calls for Audience Development and Access-to-Markets Initiatives
Applications are now open for the support schemes for Audience Development and Access-to-Markets, which are being offered by the Creative Europe MEDIA sub-programme. Eligible applicants can now submit their proposed initiatives for the two support schemes with deadlines in January and March 2016.
This scheme supports annual events and activities designed to facilitate access to markets for European audiovisual professionals and promote European films, TV programmes and video games.
Proposed projects must fit into one of three categories:
Action 1: Access to physical markets for European audiovisual professionals
Action 2: Online tools intended for audiovisual professionals
Action 3: Common European promotional activities
Actions and activities can take place both in and outside of countries participating in Creative Europe's MEDIA sub-programme. More information is available on the EACEA website.
Submission deadline: 28 January 2016
This scheme supports innovative projects that aim to reach out to wider, especially young, audiences with European films, and encourages better co-operation between film literacy initiatives in Europe.
Project proposals require at least three partners, from three different countries participating in Creative Europe's MEDIA sub-programme and should cover at least three different languages.
Projects proposals should fall into one of two categories:
Action 1 - Film literacy initiatives: For film institutes, film heritage institutions, festivals and/or film clubs, looking to either establish a new joint cross-border initiative or 'export' a successful initiative from one country to other countries.
Action 2 - Audience development initiatives: For sales agents, distribution companies, festivals, TV-broadcasters, cinemas, online platforms and film promotion organisations looking to create new and innovative approaches to audience development in the digital age. More information is available on the EACEA website.
Submission deadline: 3 March 2016
