Call for Submissions: Twelve for the Future Rough Cut Session
Submissions are open for the next edition of our Twelve for the Future Rough Cut session, which will take place on 31 January 2019 in Helsinki. Together with DocPoint - Helsinki Documentary Film Festival, EDN is organising this session in conjunction with Twelve for the Future 2018/2019 and as a part of the DocPoint industry programme. The submission deadline is 7 December 2018.
At the Rough Cut session three previous Twelve for the Future participants will present a project in a rough cut stage. The selected participants are invited to present a total of 20 minutes of video material from the rough cut to an expert panel and an industry audience. After the screening of the visual material, the panel will discuss and give feedback on the project. The panel will consist of industry experts with different backgrounds including a story & film editor.
Examples of previous projects that took part in the Twelve for the Future Rough Cut session include Moldovan Miracle (Norway — Director: Stian Indrevoll, Producer: Johnny Holmvåg), The Good Postman (Finland — Director: Tonislav Hristov, Producer: Kaarle Aho & Kai Nordberg) and Daddy's Girl (Finland — Director: Melisa Üneri, Producer: Mika Ronkainen).
