The director's blog is a channel on the EDN website aimed at presenting topics and ideas - related to EDN and the documentary industry - to a broader audience. In this edition, EDN's interim director Flore Deroose reaches out to the documentary community in order to engage in a fruitful dialogue with doc professionals of our network and from across the globe.

I would like to introduce myself to everyone who I have not had the pleasure of meeting yet. My name is Flore Deroose and since mid April I have had the pleasure of taking on the role of director of EDN - European Documentary Network. After two months of getting acquainted with the association it is now for me time to come forward and reach out to the documentary community.

Therefore, I am happy to re-introduce you here to the Director’s Blog. This is your destination for regular updates on what’s currently going on at EDN. If you have special requests, comments and/or questions, please feel welcome to send them directly to me via .

The EDN team is curious to know what you, in particular our members, think is important, valuable and relevant within EDN's offerings including its activities and services.
