Thessaloniki Documentary Festival
Submission deadline: 4/9 – 2016. Festival: March 3-12, 2017
The TDF is carried out every March in Thessaloniki since its inception in 1999. Through tributes and retrospectives, the TDF focuses on filmmakers internationally renowned for their contribution to the documentary genre. Submission Deadlines First deadline: September 4th 2016 for films completed between November 2015 and June 2016. Second final deadline: November 27th for films completed between July 2016 and November 2016.

Torino Film Festival – TFF
Submission deadline: 9/9 – 2016. Festival: November 18-26, 2016
Torino Film Festival is the second largest film festival in Italy. TFF has remained essentially unchanged in its identity, which was created in over thirty years of research devoted to new cinema and to discovering the contemporary trends in international independent films. The non-competitive sections of the Festival will be filled with films and surprising discoveries suspended between show and research, anticipations and provocations, mainstream movies and niche cinema.

CAAMFest is the nation’s largest showcase for new Asian and Asian American films, presenting approximately 130 works in San Francisco, Berkeley and Oakland. Since 1982, the annual festival has been an important launching point for Asian American independent filmmakers as well as a vital source for new Asian cinema.

Tbilsis International Film Festival
Submission deadline: 15/9 – 2016. Festival: November 28 – December 4, 2016
The festival's main aims are to introduce Georgian public with new works of high artistic value made in Georgia proper and worldwide, inform it about new trends in the world cinema and support development of Georgian cinema industry. The festival strives to turn itself into a gathering place for filmmakers, producers, sales agents and distributors in South Caucasus.

Submission deadline: 30/9 – 2016. Festival: March 6-15, 2017
One World is one of the leading documentary film festivals dealing with social, political, environmental, media and human rights issues. One World presents over 100 documentary films from all around the globe and organizes numerous Q&As with filmmakers and experts.
