Deadline for CPH:FORUM


CPH:FORUM is CPH:DOX' international financing and co-production event, dedicated to supporting creative, visual and auteur driven films. Deadline for applications is September 1, 2013.

CPH:FORUM is a international financing event during CPH:DOX, which facilitates the development and financing of creative and visually strong film projects. This years pitch session is Wednesday and Thursday 13-14th. November. 

The forum in Copenhagen brings together key European and international financiers, industry professionals and producers intent on discovering the latest independent and innovative works in development from documentary filmmakers, fiction filmmakers and visual artists. The decision makers will have access to view online trailers, along with synopses, biographical information and headline budget figures, in advance of CPH:FORUM.  

The FORUM has three different sections:

  • FICTIONONFICTION  challenging works in the ever-growing hybrid landscape between fiction and non-fiction. 
  • CINEMA high-end theatrical feature length documentaries with international distribution potential. 
  • ART film projects to be screened both within the institution of cinema and that of visual arts. 

The selected film projects will be presented to a line-up of international funds, sales agents, buyers, distributors, broadcasters, online platforms, festivals, museums and other film and art institutions in order to create an exclusive and diversified meeting and networking place where leading Nordic, European and international professionals will develop working relations across fiction, documentary and the arts.
