DOX Winter 2012/13 is out!
The latest issue of DOX Magazine is now available. This edition takes a closer look at pitching forums, the importance of documentary labs and transmedia through the eyes of a social strategists.
The new issue of DOX delves into the world of international co-production at various forums around Europe and Canada. Who do the forums serve? How do you make it a successful experience? And how do the forums differ in various places in Europe?
DOX also takes a look a some of the most important and popular documentary labs in the world, amongst others The Sundance Lab, now celebrating its 10th anniversary.
The phenomena of transmedia is examined with the help of social strategists and experience economists, and we take a look at a new generation of Indian filmmakers.
And last, but certainly not least BBC’s own Nick Fraser has let DOX print a chapter on Cinema Verité from his book, Why Documentary Matters.
This issues photo series is by Greek Michael Pappas and portrays the customs and rituals of Greece.
