FreshPitch 2019 is the fourth edition of China's documentary content pitching forum focusing on media convergence and the crossing of industries. The forum is attracting documentary talents, financiers and industry professionals from across the globe with the aim of bringing inspiring and promising doc projects to the market. EDN Film & Media Consultant Ove Rishøj Jensen will respresent EDN in his role as industry advisor for the event.
FreshPitch aims to explore creativity within documentary content and brings together a variety of leading and innovative players from China and the international documentary sector.
The event consists of two parts: 'content pitching' and 'cross-boundary dialogue', which are focused on exploring innovative content and fostering cross-boundary communication, respectively. The FreshPitch sessions include the opening ceremony, presentation of pitches, dialogue, brainstorming, recommendation & experience, banquet and the official award ceremony.
The line-up of decision makers and financiers will, like last year, again include representatives of relevant international broadcasters and media companies. As a partner of Freshpitch, EDN will provide industry advice and assist in bringing European players and documentary professionals to China.
