Twelve for the Future Rough Cut Session

Together with DocPoint, EDN is organising the Twelve for the Future Rough Cut session in conjunction with Twelve for the Future 2017/2018 and the DocPoint Documentary Film Festival. The submission deadline is December 8, 2017.
At the Rough Cut Session, three previous Twelve for the Future participants will present a project in a rough cut stage. The selected participants are invited to present a total of 20 minutes of video material from the rough cut to an expert panel and an industry audience. After the screening of the 20 minutes, the panel will discuss and give feedback on the project.The panel will consist of renowned editor Niels Pagh Andersen plus two further industry experts.Besides being on the panel, Niels Pagh Andersen will also provide individual consultations to the three selected projects.
Call for Projects
To submit a project for the Rough Cut session please send a 2-page project presentation plus min 20 min clip from the film (to be send via an online Youtube or Vimeo link).

Deadline to send the material is December 8, 2017.
To apply you must:
• be a former participant at the EDN workshop Twelve for the Future
• have a rough cut ready by the beginning of January which can be send to the expert panel
• make a 20 min clip that can be screened at the rough cut session
• be present in Helsinki on February 1st and 2nd
If your project is selected we cover 2 nights in Helsinki and the DocPoint Festival accreditation.
The session takes place on the morning of Thursday February 1st and the individual consultations either on February 1st or 2nd.
