Influencing Brexit — Have Your Say | Sheffield 2018
June 9, 2018. 16:00 - 17:15 at the Crucible Adelphi in Sheffield, UK.
EDN will be organizing a panel discussion on Brexit alongside this year's edition of Sheffield Doc/Fest. In light of the departure of the UK from the European Union, this session will provide an opportunity to stay updated on the impact of Brexit on the creative industry and activities that are aimed at securing future support through the Creative Europe programme.
How could Brexit affect the future of filmmakers both in the UK and the rest of the EU? How can the lobby of the UK government be informed such that the crucial funding provided by the EU will continue with the UK remaining a part of the Creative Europe programme? Potential answers to these question will be discussed during this panel discussion which is - at the same time - "a call to our colleagues across Europe to help us consider the future of our joint industry".
