DOC LAB Poland 2017

EDN is once again involved in the annual DOC LAB Poland programme, a pitching forum and co-production market which is part of the industry section of the Krakow Film Festival. EDN Director Paul Pauwels will be one of the tutors of the DOC LAB programme.
DOC LAB Poland is a platform for the presentation of projects to the most renowned international experts, producers and distributors, during a pitching and a co-production market. Docs to Start offers meetings among international producers, rough-cut presentations and a distribution market called Docs to Go! for distributors, representatives of festivals, TV/VOD commissioning editors and sales agents.
Presentations and meetings of DOC LAB Poland are aiming for starting co-productions, exchanging ideas and experiences and attracting partners for cooperation on making, financing and distributing documentaries. These activities will be organised as part of the Krakow Film Festival which is the major industry event in the documentary film world in Poland. DOC LAB Poland aims to to combine the best tradition of Polish auteur documentary cinema with modern thinking about film production, communications and distribution. DOC LAB Poland invites a variety of relevant professionals to the Doc Lab pitchings, such as sales agents, festival programmers, TV commissioning editors, and - of course – producers who are interested in co-producing with Poland.
