FIPA International Festival of Audiovisual Programs
Submission deadline: 10/11 – 2017. Festival: January 23-28, 2018
FIPA, the International Festival of Audiovisual Programs, was created to recognize, honour and promote exceptional work in the audiovisual media and contribute to the development of the audiovisual arts throughout the world in a spirit of cooperation and exchange. FIPA also calls for documentary and fiction (drama, series or web programs) television projects.

Submission deadline: 14/11 – 2017. Festival: May 10-20, 2018
CAAMFest is the nation’s largest showcase for new Asian and Asian American films, presenting approximately 130 works in San Francisco, Berkeley and Oakland. Since 1982, the annual festival has been an important launching point for Asian American independent filmmakers as well as a vital source for new Asian cinema.
One World - Romania
Submission deadline: 15/11 – 2017. Festival: March 16-25, 2018
One World Romania is the only documentary festival in Bucharest and the only one dedicated to human rights in Romania. First, it was an offspring of the One World in Prague, initiated by the Czech Centre Bucharest. Gradually the selection and organization became autonomous. In 2009 the organizers of the festival started the One World Romania Association.
Tribeca Film Festival
Submission deadline: 22/11 – 2017. Festival: April 18-29, 2018
The Tribeca Film Festival helps filmmakers reach the broadest possible audience, enabling the international film community and general public to experience the power of cinema and promote New York City as a major filmmaking center. It is well known for being a diverse international film festival that supports emerging and established directors. Founded by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff in 2001 following the attacks on the World Trade Center, to spur the economic and cultural revitalization of the lower Manhattan district through an annual celebration of film, music and culture, the Festival brings the industry and community together around storytelling.
International Film Festival Cartagena - FICCI
Submission deadline: 24/11 – 2017. Festival: February 28 – March 5, 2018
The International Film Festival Cartagena takes place in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia in March. Since its creation in 1960, FICCI has welcomed and celebrated bold and novel perspectives in Ibero-American and World Cinema, and the festival is one of the longest-running film festival in Latin America.
Krakow Film Festival
Submission deadline: 30/11 – 2017. Festival: May 27 – June 3, 2018
Krakow Film Festival is a creative and very intensive film event presenting the newest films from all around the world. The festival, dedicated to documentary, animated and short fiction films is an Oscar® nominating festival, qualifies films for the European Film Award and has got FIPAF accreditation. It lasts 8 days, presents about 200 films on 9 screens and in the same time is the annual meeting place for filmmakers and industry professionals.
