Odense International Film Festival - OFF
Submission deadline: 13/3-2017. Festival dates: August 28 – September 9, 2017.
The International Odense Film Festival (OFF) is Denmark’s international short film festival, and with its launch in 1975, it is also the country’s oldest film festival. OFF celebrates the short film format as media and as an art form, and, above all, all the creative individuals who put their heart and soul into creating short films.

Supertoon International Animation Festival
Submission deadline: 15/3-2017. Festival dates: July 16-21, 2017.
SUPERTOON is an International Animation Festival taking place in Šibenik, Croatia. The purpose of the Festival is to systematically monitor and provide an insight into recent Croatian and world short-meter animation film and video production through a range of competition and side programmes. Additional aim is to create a platform for a direct communication and exchange of ideas and experiences for all festival participants and guests.

FIDMarseille
Submission deadline: 24/3-2017. Festival dates: July 11-17, 2017.
Every year in early July, the FIDMarseille — Marseille’s International Film Festival proposes a programme of 130 films to approximately 23,000 spectators, in cinemas, theaters, libraries, art galleries, and in open-air amphitheaters throughout the city. The festival presents a large number of films in their world premiere as well as first films. Today, the FIDMarseille is recognized as a source of new cinemas, both documentary productions as well as fiction films.

Vancouver Queer Film Festival

Vancouver Queer Film Festival is Vancouver's second largest film festival and the largest queer arts event in Western Canada. The Festival hosts a variety of performances, workshops, panels, parties and more.

Taiwan International Ethnographic Film Festival - TIEFF
Submission deadline: 31/3-2017. Festival dates: October 6-10, 2017.
The Taiwan International Ethnographic Film Festival (TIEFF) is Asia’s oldest and longest running international ethnographic film festival. TIEFF consists both of a biennial festival held in Taipei in the Fall, and touring festival, including a portion of the selected films, which is held all across Taiwan the following Spring. TIEFF is more than a venue for screening films and videos; it is also a forum for education, discussion, and exchange. The festival is biennial.
