EDN Announces Projects Selected for Twelve for the Future

27.06.2017

Following the call for submissions for the next edition of the EDN workshop Twelve for the Future, we are delighted to announce the twelve projects that will participate in the upcoming cycle of our programme dedicated to emerging documentary talents from Nordic countries.

Still from Reflecting Ice by Niina Virtanen
and Nina Forsman

Twelve for the Future is a project driven co-production workshop for Nordic documentary producers and directors. The workshop is aimed at developing projects for international co-production, establishing a professional network for the participants and connecting Nordic producers, directors and financiers.

The two-part programme features a three-day development workshop in Southern Sweden in September and an additional session in January 2018 in Finland, which includes individual meetings with financiers from Nordic TV channels and film institutes. Tutors at the first workshop will be Mikael Opstrup (EDN Head of Studies, Denmark), Magnus Gertten (director, Sweden), Iikka Vehkalahti (producer, Finland) and Kristine Ann Skaret (producer, Norway).

The selected projects for Twelve for the Future 2017/2018 are:
