The Screening Club
Deadline: 4/9 – 2017.
The ScreeningClub is Cinekid for Professionals' digital video library. Producers can submit their childrens productions for the ScreeningClub. Formats include short or feature film, television series, youth documentaries, animation and live-action. The productions should be suitable for children from 4 to 14 years old, have to be finished in 2016/2017 and include English subtitles. If projects were already presented in the ScreeningClub before, they cannot be submitted again.

Media Umbrella Stand at MIPCOM
Deadline: 6/9 – 2017. Event dates: October 16-19, 2017.
The Creative Europe MEDIA MIPCOM Umbrella Stand operates on behalf of the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission. Participants on the the stand are from Creative Europe MEDIA participating countries and are required to meet eligibility criteria implicit in the questions on the application form. The benefits of being a stand participant include a range of added-value services, including an advisory service, workshops, buyer's briefings and the stand facilities at no extra charge. Stand facilities include dedicated wi-fi, a coffee bar, and meeting rooms.

DOCroads 2017
Deadline: 10/9 – 2017. Event dates: September 18-28, 2017.
DOCROADS is a project driven, creative documentary workshop and training initiative specially designed for audiovisual emerging professionals, organized as a Sunny Side of the Doc/Asian Side of the Doc event, in Europe and Asia. It consists of two phases, 5 days each (10 days in total) of residential seminars and a workshop. Both phases are headed, guided, coordinated and constantly supervised by tutors, who provide feedback, advice and suggestions.

Docs For Sale
Deadline: 15/9 – 2017. Event dates: November 17-23, 2017.
Getting your documentary made is difficult enough. Then there’s the business of selling it and eventually finding an audience for it. Established in 1996, Docs for Sale facilitates sales of high-end documentaries by gathering all interested parties under one roof, as well as bringing them together through the Docs for Sale Online services.

The Frontline Club Awards
Deadline: 15/9 – 2017. Event date: November 2, 2017.
The Frontline Club Awards seek to recognise new emerging talents and established names who have shown integrity, courage and independent spirit in their work. Nominees are invited to submit published work in one of the three categories: photojournalism, broadcast and print.
