A new initiative by Doc Alliance Films (DAFilms) allows online audiences to vote for the best short documentaries from Ji.hlava IDFF's competition section called "Short Joy". The slate of latest Ji.hlava short docs is available to stream for free via the Doc Alliance Films website.
Short Joy will be available online at DAFilms.com until 22 October — the winning film will receive the DAFilms Audience Award to be presented during the opening ceremony of Ji.hlava IDFF on 24 October 2017. The award includes online distribution and promotion worth EUR 3,000.
Anyone interested in watching the films can register for free at DAFilms and vote directly on the website. All voters also enter a competition for a yearly subscription at DAFilms, Ji.hlava IDFF's shirt, catalogue and bag as well as an invitation for two to the Industry Party for film professionals and the festival's closing ceremony in Jihlava, Czech Republic.
The voting period will end on Sunday, 22 October at 12:00 noon (CET). For more information, please visit the Doc Alliance Film website.
