BIDF 2016: Call for Entries
Producers and filmmakers can now submit their documentary projects for the 3rd edition of the Budapest International Documentary Festival (BIDF). The festival will take place in the Urania National Film Theatre, Budapest from 24 September - 1 October 2016. The submission deadline is 20 April 2016.

BIDF is an international competition for creative documentaries from all over the world without thematic restriction, featuring money awards and an international jury. The festival welcomes all directors with films in competition (approximately 40 films) in order to provide a unique and truly unforgettable experience going beyond pure screenings by offering dedicated Q&A sessions.
The festival is one of the key sources for audiences in Hungary to access documentary films allowing a glimpse at how the documentary sector is evolving, especially in the international market. EDN - European Documentary Network is a supporter and partner of BIDF and has been involved in the development of the event since its inception in 2014.
