Flore Deroose - EDN Interim Director
Flore Deroose serves as interim director of the association since April 2019. With a Masters in Visual Anthropology and Research Journalism for TV productions, Flore’s background is in digital storytelling, public broadcasting and investigative documentaries including the award winning documentary “Our Daily Bread”. As Director of Editorial at Zoomin TV Flore Deroose was the driving force behind the production of Europe’s largest producer of online web documentary stories. Flore has built a vast network of documentary makers & digital storytellers with whom Zoomin TV produces daily web stories on a wide variety of topics & formats.

Mikael Opstrup - EDN Head of Studies & Co-production Guide Editor
A dedicated documentarist since his first S-8mm documentary in 1977.
Most of the 80’s Mikael worked with distribution and theatrical release of documentaries. Producer of international documentaries since the 90’s. Production Adviser at The Danish Film Institute 1998-2002. From 2002 - 2008 co-owner of Final Cut Productions in Copenhagen.
Board member of EDN 2005 –2008, the last year as Chairman.
Ove Rishøj Jensen - EDN Film & Media Consultant
Ove has been with EDN since Winter 2003 and is in charge of running workshops, pitching forums and seminars in both online and offline versions.
Ove has programmed and/or produced a number of events like Docs in Thessaloniki, The EDN Pitch Pilot Workshop, New Platforms - New Politics, Twelve for the Future and lately also EDN’s market activities at European Film Market, Sunny Side of the Doc and MIPDOC. In addition he has collaborated with a number of documentary organisations and festivals on tailor made master classes, seminars and workshops for special events and occasions. This includes the IDFA DocLab in The Netherlands, DOX in Vitro in Slovakia, RealYoung in Sweden and NFI:LAB Junior DOK in Norway.
From 2004 to early 2015 Ove was also in charge of the EDN website, heading the process of building a platform, where a network as geographical divided as EDN’s, can have a meeting place for collaboration and information sharing. This has resulted in formats like EDN Online Master Classes, where leading documentary figures share their knowledge about filmmaking, and EDN Online Sessions, where important financiers are introduced and their financing possibilities presented. Latest format is The EDN Online Pitching Session, where documentary projects with a specific thematic focus are pitching to a selected group of financiers via an online videoconference system.
Ove Rishøj Jensen holds a master degree in film studies with additional studying of cultural journalism and humanistic computer informatics. Besides working for EDN, Ove has briefly worked for Filmkontakt Nord. Alongside working for EDN, Ove is working for the Swedish production company Auto Images as Outreach Producer and is a board member of the Nordic documentary screening initiative Doc Lounge.

Cecilie Bolvinkel - EDN Network and Partnerships Manager & Financing Guide Editor
(Currently on maternity leave until October 2019)
Cecilie holds a Masters Degree in Film Studies from the University of Copenhagen with additional studies in Arts and Culture, and before joining EDN she worked as a festival coordinator for shorts & documentaries at the Danish Film Institute.
Within EDN Cecilie is responsible for overall partnership coordination, fund applications and reports. Furthermore she produces several events and workshops for EDN and manages EDNs involvement in the pan-European distribution network Moving Docs. Among the workshop programmes she manages are the Nordic co-production workshop Twelve for the Future, and the Asian - European training programme Crossing Borders done in collaboration with Documentary Campus, Germany and different partners in Asia. Cecilie is also the editor of EDN Member of the Month and of the EDN Financing Guide.
Cecilie is based in and working out of Berlin where she, besides her work for EDN, also runs The Berlin Documentary Film Club - a monthly documentary screening and networking event.

Jörg Winkelmann - EDN Press & Communications Manager, Head of Web Content
Jörg worked as media specialist, project engineer and freelance editor for a variety of international companies and institutions related to media, marketing and communications. He had previously been the programme director at the French-based media business school ETMA, where he was in charge of running an academic master degree programme for filmmakers, producers and specialists from the European media sector.
At EDN, Jörg is responsible for communicating EDN's mission, goals and activities to a variety of different audiences incl. the stakeholders of our network and external partners. He is also in charge of webcontent at EDN and further deals with everything related to the administration of EDN's membership base.
Jörg received his master degree in educational sciences with minors in media pedagogics and psychology at the University of Munich (UniBwM) in 2001 and worked for several years as a journalist at Radio Andernach, a German entertainment broadcaster. His professional interests are interdisciplinary with a focus on media production, marketing, design and corporate communications.
