The EDN Executive Committee

The Executive Committee of the European Documentary Network currently consists of the persons listed below. Additional board members will be appointed in the near future and their names will be added to this overview.

EDN Chairman Jan Riemens, Adversa TV, The Netherlands

Jan Riemens, CEO of Zoomin.TV, is a true entrepreneur: immediately after getting his degree in Business Administration at Eindhoven University, he founded his first company MoneyView Research in 1993 which is still operating successfully today. Jan Riemens has developed Zoomin.TV into an international media company with 275+ employees in 17 branches worldwide conducting operations in 121 markets, producing short-form video content in 20+ languages, generating 3.2 billion video impressions per month. Swedish media conglomerate Modern Times Group (MTG) acquired a 51% share in Zoomin.TV in July 2015. Later that year Jan Riemens started Zoomin Studios to develop cutting-edge formats and deliver ground-breaking long-form television content.

In 2016 he launched Zoomin.TV’s new content strategy ‘Dare, Care, Share’ targeting Generation Z, post-millennials born from the mid-1990s onward. The first generation to grow up steeped in mobile technology and social media platforms. In May 2018 MTG acquired the remaining 49% of the shares and subsequently Jan left Zoomin.TV. Since then he has started several small scale initiatives in various lines of business.
